My art...

.....................................................................................

My art has multiple layers, and some pieces have a story behind them. More on that later. I'm fascinated by the ripples and reflections of the water's surface. Water flows just like our emotions, sometimes calm and then turbulent. The water's surface is moved by the wind and reflects its surroundings, yet remains unchanged and flows unhindered in its own course. For me, that's a metaphor for my own existence; trying to maintain my inner peace and not get swept away by the events of society.

Looking at the water gives me moments of stillness. I try to reflect that in my artwork so that the viewer feels connected to nature. In our modern society, we've somewhat lost our connection with nature, and if you hang my works in your home, you have something to look at, something that connects you and offers you moments of peace.

When photographing and editing the water's surface, I try to visualize a state of harmony. That's why my photos often evoke an energetic, yet simultaneously calm and meditative atmosphere. Sometimes, however, they reveal the inner turmoil we all experience; just as water can sometimes be haunted. But like any storm, it's only temporary, and calm always returns.

Nature is incredibly diverse, and we are all created differently. Humans come in all shapes and sizes, and our personalities also differ. This is linked to the development of our minds, and every brain is unique. Einstein is said to have said: "The human brain is the most complex object in the universe." There are many more neurodivergent people like me. Yet, we are all part of that same nature. Nature does not discriminate and accommodates all forms. That's why everyone deserves respect.

..........................................................................................................

"Distorted reality" is about how we perceive reality. We don't see reality directly, but our brain creates a model of reality. As Shian Té taught me: "the map is not the system." We usually believe our view of reality is the truth, but more often than not, our view of reality is distorted.

.....................................................................................

"All deserve(s) respect" is about the fact that we are all part of nature and that that's okay; we are who nature made us. Therefore, everyone, regardless of their creation, deserves respect.

The main part of this website is in the digital art section. Here you'll find my artwork from recent years.
The study section is still under development and provides insight into my creative process.
